Associate and start the ESDEMO enterprise server

Enterprise Server provides an enterprise server instance, ESDEMO, to run our deployed service. We need to associate it with our IMTKTutorial project, and then start it.

1. To start the Server Explorer, click Window > Show View > Other > Micro Focus COBOL > Server Explorer; then click OK.
2. From Server Explorer, expand localhost to see a list of available enterprise servers.
3. Right-click the ESDEMO enterprise server; then click Associate with Project > IMTKTutorial.
4. To start the ESDEMO enterprise server, right-click it; then click Start.

   The ESDEMO enterprise server provides a default user name and password that you can customize. For this tutorial, we use the default information.

5. If a sign-on dialog box appears, click OK; then click No to disable password recovery.

The Enterprise Server Console Daemon is then invoked via the Console, starting the enterprise server.
