Before you can debug within the IDE, the dynamic debugging feature must be enabled within the JCLDEMO Enterprise Server. You can configure this to be enabled whenever the Enterprise Server is started. It is also advisable to enable the settings to automatically start the Enterprise Server when the associated application is run, and to stop the Enterprise Server when you exit Eclipse.

To do this, you need to configure the IDE to enable dynamic debugging automatically when the Enterprise Server starts:

		- Click
Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > Enterprise Server.

- Set the following options to
		  Always, then click
		  OK:

			 - Automatically start the associated server

- Automatically stop servers started by Eclipse when closing Eclipse

- Automatically enable dynamic debugging

Note: These settings apply to all Enterprise Servers listed on the Enterprise Server Administration page. To enables dynamic debugging on an individual basis, check

Allow Dynamic Debugging on the
page when editing an Enterprise Server; it must be restarted before this setting takes effect.
