Tutorial: Build the ODBC XA Switch Module

  1. Start an Enterprise Developer command prompt as an administrator. To do this, click Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Enterprise Developer> Tools; then right-click Enterprise Developer command prompt (32-bit) and select Run as Administrator from the context menu.
    Note: The Start menu is not available on Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2012. You use the Start screen to invoke programs. To start the command prompt as an administrator, go to the Start page; then right-click the Enterprise Developer command prompt 32-bit tile and select Run as administrator at the bottom of the page.
  2. Change to the %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\src\enterpriseserver\xa directory.
  3. Enter build odbc.
