Check the licensing
service (Windows) or
daemon (UNIX) is running.
Windows
The service is called MF CES daemon. Check if it is running and start it using the
Control Panel > Services dialog box.
(UNIX)
Run
/var/microfocuslicensing/bin/mfcesdchk to check if the daemon is running.
If it isn't, log in as root and run
/var/microfocuslicensing/bin/startmfcesd.sh to start it.
