Browse certain types of data sets or data set members, opening a ready-only version of the item in the IDE.
If the
Remote Systems window is not displayed, click
.

In the
Remote Systems window, log on to the mainframe.

Expand the required search filter to display the data sets.

Expand the required data set to show its members, if applicable.

Right-click the required data set or member, then click
Browse.
The item is displayed in a
Browse window in the IDE.
