Ready to import your existing applications?
Once you are familiar with the IDE, you can import your existing code into
Enterprise Developer.
- Enterprise Developer provides an import wizard to help you convert your existing Net Express projects to
Eclipse projects. For an overview of the process of importing Net Express projects into
Eclipse see
Net Express プロジェクトから Eclipse プロジェクトへの変換.
- See the
Upgrading to
Enterprise Developer for
Eclipse section for full details on upgrading your applications from Net Express to
Enterprise Developer, information about the differences between the two products, what technologies are not supported in
Enterprise Developer, and newer technologies in
Enterprise Developer that have replaced those in Net Express.
- Also, see

What next?
You can continue to maintain your applications in
Enterprise Developer as before. You can also employ new technologies such as JVM COBOL and Web Services to modernize the applications over time.
