A forceable region abend was requested via the dfhgrtrm utility without the protection of locking shared memory.
Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.
This should only be used if the region is 'hung', that is, it is impossible to connect a 3270 terminal to the region or shut
the region down with the /t option.
- System Action:
- The region will be forceably abended without first obtaining a lock on shared memory.
- Resolution:
- This may be the only option in severe system failures, report the failure mode to Technical Support.
