Files Needed for Animating

When you start animating, you are automatically compiling the program. The Compiler creates:

• An executable file. At the animating stage, you usually compile to intermediate code. Note that you can also debug other types of executable code: generated code and system executable code.
• A dictionary file (.idy)

You can debug any subprograms that the main program calls, but these must also be compiled and must have their dictionary files available. Any called programs without dictionary files run at full speed, without interruption. Control returns to the animator only when the called program calls or returns to a program that does have dictionary files.
